You are the ocean in all its forms, both the calm and the storm.
 
This painting was an exploration of the idea that we are both the calm and the storm. In us is both the light and the darkness. Our shadowed selves exist to teach us just as much as the light. Both are opportunities to show and be shown love, to grow and appreciate all our facets. 
 
Through form and pattern, I explored the imagery of a storm and finding light within us, at its center.
